Nakamura Shikan and Iwai Hanshiro, 1832 - Handsome kabuki double portrait featuring Iwai Hanshiro as a beauty holding helmet topped with a dragon figurine and Nakamura Shikan as a nobleman. The daimyo grimaces angrily as he looks to the side, his large frame filling the page. He wears a voluminous green robe with white paulownia crests and a tall black court cap. Nice expressive figures, attractively colored and detailed.
