Original Kunisada III (1848 - 1920) Japanese Woodblock Print
View of Tokyo

Comments - Handsome view of Tokyo with a horse-drawn carriage beginning to cross a modern bridge with steel supports. The entrance of the bridge is flanked with stone pillars and low walls above the stone embankment below. The wooden supports of an earlier bridge can be seen at bottom center. Blossoming cherry trees ad notes of color to the city scene. Nicely detailed.

Artist - Kunisada III (1848 - 1920)

Image Size - 13 7/8" x 9 3/8"

Condition - This print with excellent color and detail as shown. Small tear at edge, a few small holes, repaired. Creasing, slight toning, a few spots. Please see photos for details.
