Furisode (Long-sleeved Kimono), 1988

Comments - Lovely modern print of a nude sitting on a chair draped with a furisode, a formal long-sleeved kimono worn by women prior to marriage. She looks down with a demure expression, her eyes nearly closed. A lovely painterly design in soft warm tones of tan, brown, and red. A rare design in a large format that would make an attractive framed display.
