Scene's of Sacred Places and Historic Landmarks - We are excited to offer an exceptional group of first edition woodblocks from Tokuriki's famous series "Scenes of Sacred Places and Historic Landmarks." This beautiful series features some of Japan's most famous and sacred temples, shrines, castles, and natural wonders, in a variety of seasons and weather conditions. These wonderful images have a lovely watercolor-like quality, with soft colors and delicate shading. Of special interest are the inclusion of contemporary details, such as automobiles and telephone lines, which add a unique modern feel to these traditional subjects. These are original first edition woodblocks, published in 1941 by Uchida.

Condition - This print with excellent color and detail as shown. Slight toning, a few creases at sides. Please see photos for details. Nice overall.
