Kabuki Portrait Original Painting - Handsome original Japanese painting on board of a kabuki actor in the role of a distraught beauty, biting anxiously on a tie-dyed cloth. Her hair is pulled back into a large bun adorned with a red orange ribbon, a tassel, floral ornaments, and a small bird figurine. Beautifully painted with fine line work in the hair and eyelashes. An interesting original design painted on board in the traditional shikishiban or nearly square format.
