Spring Colors, 1861

Comments - Handsome scene of Prince Genji and a group of beauties on the verandah of a mansion. At right, a standing woman giggles shyly into her sleeve, the young girl beside her gesturing with her hand. The beauties are elegantly dressed in beautiful kimono patterned with flowers, the white trim delicately embossed. A lovely spring scene.

Condition - This print with excellent detail as shown. Two separate panels, backed with paper. Slight soiling at edges. Faint lines where backing papers meet. Please see photos for details.
