Panoramic View of Shinobazu Pond from Kiyomizu Temple

Comments - Lovely design of beauties viewing cherry blossoms from the verandah of Kiyomizu Temple. In the center, a young girl holds the hand of a beauty as she stands next to the railing, her red kimono patterned with blossoming irises. Her companion wears a purple kimono with a design of fans and flowers, smiling as she looks down. At right, a mother carries a young girl on her back, the other women chatting happily as they admire the beautiful pink and white blossoms surrounding the temple. In the distance at left, a narrow walkway lead across the water of Shinobazu Pond to Benten Shrine. A wonderful spring image, detailed with embossing on the white kimono collars.
