Autumn, 1927 - Beautiful portrait of a modern beauty in autumn, with a few leaves falling down over the scene. Her hair is loosely knotted over each ear, and she wears a burgundy shawl over a coat patterned with the suits from a Western deck of cards: hearts, diamonds, clubs, and spades. Her kimono is a light gray with an orange stripe, tied with an orange and black obi. The lovely subdued color palette recalls the warm tones of autumn, and the background feature a subtle dusting of mica. A gorgeous print and a classic shin-hanga beauty design.
