Aunt Omine Eavesdropping, 1855

Comments - Handsome kabuki portrait of Aunt Omine eavesdropping outside a door, tilting her head and frowning as she listens. She wears an intricately patterned floral kimono over a red under robe, tied with a plum colored obi with flowers and scrolls and a yellow print sash, a folding fan in hand. A cloth pinned around her head protects her hairstyle from dust. A nice expressive figure with fine detail in the architectural setting.

Image Size - 14" x 9 1/2"

Condition - This print with excellent detail as shown. Slight toning, a few creases. Please see photos for details.
