The Beauty Ohana Praying, 1856

Comments - Charming kabuki scene of the beauty Ohana praying, kneeling beneath a tree with her hands clasped together, smiling sweetly. She wears a violet robe with a large geometric pattern over a red under robe, tied with a red floral obi, the fabric trailing onto the grass around her. A wooden marker stands along the edge of the river behind her, with the pine tree framing the night sky and autumn grasses in silhouette on the far shore. An attractive design.
