Original Meiji era Japanese Woodblock Print
Two Sumo Wrestlers

Comments - Handsome kabuki double portrait of sumo wrestlers beneath a blossoming cherry tree. The man at the top looks to the side with an angry, tight-lipped frown, his brows furrowed. The fellow sitting below stares up at him, his arms folded across his chest and tucked into his sleeves. He wears a violet kimono with a rooster on it with colorful tailfeathers. A great design with attractive color and fine line work in the hair.
