Musician and Fire Watchtower

Comments - Handsome kabuki portrait of a musician standing at the foot of a fire watchtower. He looks up with a wary expression as he cradles a shamisen in his arms, a large woven hat tied at his chin with a red cord. Firemen holding red lanterns can be seen in the rooftops in silhouette against the night sky behind him. An expressive figure in an interesting setting.
