Series; Famous Places in Osaka, 1936

Famous Views of Osaka - Handsome design Tokuriki's "Famous Views of Osaka" series, published by Uchida in 1936. This charming twelve print series depicts noted places in Osaka, including shrines, parks, and castles as well as urban views. Rendered in a painterly style with subdued colors and soft shading, each print is mounted to stiff board in the nearly square shikishiban format, ready for display, with a handwritten paper label on the reverse. This is the first time we have offered these attractive shin-hanga designs. A great choice to collect or display.

Condition - Condition for rest of group: This print with excellent color and detail as shown. Mounted to board. Some prints have a few minor spots or slight toning. Board is lightly curved. Please see photos for details. Generally in nice condition overall.
