Comments - Terrific scene depicting the warrior Saeda Imuchiyo (the real-life Maeda Toshiie, who was known as Inuchiyo during his childhood) in the midst of battle. From astride a black horse, he wields a spear with both hands, sending two attackers flying head over heels through the night sky. The severed heads of three enemies hang from his saddle, attesting to his military prowess. Other samurai are knocked down by his horse as he rides across the battlefield. A great action scene with expressive figures and a handsome composition.
