Elegant Gathering int the West Garden

Comments - Charming scene of beauties enjoying a spring day at a country house. A mother stands just inside the doorway at right cuddling a small child in her arms. Another woman sits on the edge of the verandah, shaking a colorful toy, the child reaching for it eagerly. The beautiful setting includes cherry trees covered with pink and white blossoms framing the garden, with a waterfall splashing into a small lake with islands connected by wooden bridges. A beautiful design with attractive color and detail.

Artist - Chikanobu (1838 - 1912)

Image Size - 14" x 27 3/4"

Condition - This print with excellent color and detail as shown. Three separate panels, backed with paper. A few small holes, repaired. Stain at edge. Please see photos for details.
