Courtesan beneath a Cherry Tree

Comments - Charming portrait of a courtesan posing beneath a blossoming cherry tree. She wears a black kimono patterned with cherry blossoms over red under robes, toed with a boldly checked yellow and rose obi. Her hair is arranged with a large comb and many hairpins, and she wears tall black lacquer geta clogs. An attractive Edo era beauty design.

Condition - This print with excellent detail as shown. Slight thinning at corner, repaired. Creasing, slight toning, a few small marks. Please see photos for details.
