Wife of Tokugawa Ietsuna, No. 4 - Beautiful scene of the wife of Tokugawa Ietsuna leaning against a low table, a book underneath her arm and a water dipper in the form of a tiny teapot before her. A gorgeous curtain patterned with cranes alongside the water hangs from a lacquer stand behind her, and a red flame flickers in an oil lamp at left. Beautiful color and detail in the sumptuous fabrics. A lovely woodblock.

Image Size - 13 5/8" x 9" + margin as shown

Condition - This print with excellent detail as shown. Slight paper remnants on reverse from previous backing. Slight toning and soiling, paper remnant and slight rubbing at side, a few ripples. Please see photos for details.
