Flowers and Birds - Lovely nature scene based on scroll paintings by Sakai Hoichi. At left, a bird perches on the branch of a tree with snow gently falling. At right, ivy with colorful leaves winds about the trunk of a tree. This unusual print is a combination of woodblock and collotype, a photographic process that produces extremely fine detail. It is printed on silk mounted to paper, and comes with a text sheet in English and Japanese. An attractive design.
