Minamoto no Yoritomo Watching for Troops, 1847 - 1852

Comments - Interesting scene of Minamoto no Yoritomo sitting on a hillside with his retainers gathered around him, keeping a lookout for approaching troops. He gestures with his tasseled command baton as a messenger reports to him. Weapons and standards can be seen all around, with cherry blossoms framing the scene. A handsome design.
