Comments - Attractive kakemono or vertical diptych of a beauty looking over her shoulder with a happily smile as she holds a sword upright with one hand beneath her sleeve. Her kimono is shaded from blue to white and decorated with poem slips in different sizes. At upper left, a fierce dragon appears out of swirling clouds in an image by the artist Kyosai. An intriguing design and the first time we've seen this Edo era design.
