Beauty with an Umbrella Kakemono

Comments - Handsome vertical diptych or kakemono design of a beauty carrying an umbrella as she walks along. The breeze blows the blue scarf draped over her head, the fabric fluttering around her shoulders. She wears a black kimono trimmed with a green and black turtle print and a blue floral brocade, tied with a blue flowered obi that reverses to red striped with tiny butterflies. Her bare toes peek from beneath the hem of her robe, atop high wooden geta sandals. A lovely Edo era beauty design.
