Eight Views of the Eastern Capital - Terrific design from Hiroshige's wonderful "Eight Views of the Eastern Capital" series in an unusual folding fan print format. These handsome images feature bold line work and soft shading in the background, with each fan-shaped landscape set off by a deep green background. Published by Fusui Gabo of Tokyo, circa 1930s, carver Takano Shichinosuke, printer Ono Tomisaburo. An interesting and rarely seen format.

Artist - Hiroshige (1797 - 1858)

Image Size - 10" x 15" + margins as shown

Condition - This print with excellent color and detail as shown. Slight toning. Please see photos for details. Good overall.
