Driving Rain

Comments - Lovely Harunobu design of the young beauty Osen in a driving rain near a torii gate at the entrance to Kasamori Shrine. Osen worked as a waitress at the Kagiya tea stand at the shrine. Wind sweeps across the scene, blowing her robes and her lantern to the side. Fine embossed detail in the lantern and her under robe, an attractive touch.

Artist - Harunobu (1724 - 1770)

Image Size - 10 7/8" x 7 7/8" + margins as shown

Condition - This print with excellent color and detail as shown. Faint toning in upper margin. Slight crease at bottom. Please see photos for details. Good overall.
