Wife of Tokugawa Iesada, No. 13 - Charming woodblock showing the wife of Tokugawa Iesada, the thirteenth shogun, relaxing in her private quarters. She snuggles under a heavy quilt, a pipe and book before her, wearing a purple kimono with a faint burnished pattern. Behind her, an elaborate lacquer stand holds a white robe detailed with embossing. A handsome design with fine patterning and color.

Condition - This print with excellent color and detail as shown. Tiny loss at corner, slight thinning, repaired. Slight soiling, light stain, a few marks. Please see photos for details.
