Beauty Holding a Bowl, 1847 - 1852

Comments - Handsome kabuki portrait of a beauty standing in a hallway holding up a blue and white porcelain bowl. She looks over her shoulder with a smile as she pulls up the collar of her kimono with her other hand. A sliding shoji panel behind her opens onto a room where a black coat is draped over a wooden stand. An attractive design, nicely composed and detailed.

Condition - This print with excellent detail as shown. A few small holes, repaired. Slight soiling and rubbing, a few creases at edges. Please see photos for details.
