Original Toyokuni III/Kunisada (1786 - 1864) Japanese Woodblock Print
Worried Man in an Interior, 1854

Comments - Handsome kabuki portrait of a man kneeling in an interior, a worried expression on his face and his arms folded across his chest and tucked into his kimono sleeves. Curtains shaded from pink to blue gray and decorated with stylized flowers and tiny gourds hang in the doorway behind him, and woodblock prints decorate the lower portion of the wall at right. An interesting design with a nicely detailed setting.

Artist - Toyokuni III/Kunisada (1786 - 1864)

Image Size - 14" x 9 3/8"

Condition - This print with excellent detail as shown. Small thinning spot. Slight creasing. Please see photos for details.
