Moon Viewing at Shinshu, 1861 - Handsome image of the full moon reflected in the flooded rice paddies at Sarashino in Shinsho (Shinano) Province. A decorative cloth is draped over a bench at right, with a pipe and refreshments set out for visitors enjoying moon viewing on an autumn night. Maple trees covered with red orange foliage frame the view. A charming design, nicely detailed.

Image Size - 14 1/4" x 9 3/4" + margins as shown

Condition - This print with excellent detail as shown. Slight paper remnants on reverse at top corners from previous mounting. Horizontal and vertical folds. Creasing, slight toning and soiling. Please see photos for details.
