Famous Views of the Eastern Capital: Kasumigaseki

Comments - Handsome panoramic view of a daimyo's procession making its way through Kasumigaseki in Edo. Groups of samurai in matching robes march through the street, some carrying guns and others holding bows and quivers of arrows. In the center, townspeople kneel respectfully to watch the procession past. Mansions line the roads, with ornate entrance gates flanking the central street. A terrific design, nicely detailed.
