Beauties Dressed as Street Knights - Intriguing triptych of three beauties in the guise of otokodate or street knights, chivalrous commoners who protected locals from outlaw samurai. Dressed in similar kimono with checked trim, each is armed with a single sword and has a towel draped around her shoulder or neck. The woman at right smiles happily, but the other two look over their shoulders suspiciously. The background is beautifully detailed with the silhouettes of rooftops and trees against the evening sky. An attractive kabuki design.

Condition - This print with excellent color and detail as shown. Three separate panels. A few small wormholes, repaired. Slight soiling. Please see photos for details.
