Takada Riding Grounds, 1862 - Handsome depiction of the famous Takada riding grounds in Edo. People stroll about the park-like setting, the woman at left carrying a butterfly toy on a stick. At left, a target is set up for archery practice, with several arrows littering the ground. Pine trees on the grassy slopes frame a view of Mt. Fuji in the distance. An attractive design with fine bokashi shading, also in the collection of the Boston Museum of Fine Arts.

Image Size - 13" x 8 3/4" + margins as shown

Condition - This print with good detail as shown. Paper remnants on reverse at top corners from previous mounting. A few holes, slight thinning at corner, repaired. Creasing, slight soiling, a few spots, slight paper remnants at right edge. Please see photos for details.
