Autumn Amusements, 1853 - Beautiful scene of a young nobleman and a group of beauties relaxing in a garden on a moonlit night, the garden dotted with colorful maple trees. A beauty sits on a cushion at right as a woman sets an ornate tobacco set down beside her. The nobleman grins as he looks over his shoulder, the beauties at left busy capturing an insect. One lifts the door to the cage as the other holds a folding fan. The setting is beautifully detailed with a rushing waterfall at left and a few deer on the rocky hilltop at center under a softly glowing full moon. A terrific triptych accented with embossing on the white kimono trim and a burnished checked pattern on the black kimono.
