Comments - Handsome triptych depicting the ladies of the Imperial court watching a performance. Two women dressed in exotic costumes move gracefully on a walkway over a flowing river, with musicians accompanying them with drums and flutes. Beauties dressed in colorful floral kimono kneel in the foreground, watching the dancers and enjoying the music as one brings in a tray of sweets. An interesting composition with lively color, the scene framed with blossoming cherry trees. Nicely detailed.
