A Fuji Arts Special Offer Auction

Twilight in Imamiya Street, Choshi, 1932 - Lovely image of Imamiya Street in Choshi as evening falls, a few people making their way home in the dusk. The horizon is flooded with warm orange and yellow light, the clouds tinted plum against the darkening blue sky. The shadows of the figures lengthen along the road, the electric lines and rooftops silhouetted in dark gray. A muted glow comes from the windows lining the street. A quiet, evocative image with lovely color and fine bokashi shading.
