A Bamboo in the Shrine, 1953 - Beautiful shin-hanga print of a bamboo grove on the grounds of a shrine in winter. A woman walks across the snow-covered ground, her deep blue umbrella and the flash of red on her kimono and shoes adding a colorful touch. The green leaves and stalks of bamboo provide a lovely contrast to the white snow, and red berries peek through the snow at bottom right. An attractive, tranquil winter landscape and a lovely choice to collect or display.
