A Fuji Arts Special Offer Auction

Sakata Kintoki - Great design of the legendary strong man Sakata no Kintoki crushing two millstones with his bare hands. Known in childhood as Kintaro, a wild boy raised in the mountains, he became a faithful retainer of Minamoto no Yorimitsu as an adult. He presses down on the stones with all his strength, muscles bulging and a look of intense concentration on his face. Several smaller broken stones rest nearby. A terrific image of this legendary warrior.

Image Size - 14" x 9 5/8"

Condition - This print with excellent detail as shown. Backed with paper. Tiny wormhole, repaired. Toning, staining, slight soiling. Please see photos for details.
