Series; Snow, Moon, and Flowers of Eastern Genji

Moon, 1855 - Lovely triptych depicting a young nobleman and a group of beauties on a verandah in summer, the full moon illuminating their revelry. In the center, a woman sits with the nobleman as he paints on a fan. The women enjoy sake and read from books while a tray of refreshments sits on the floor. Sails seen along the water on the horizon and geese passing overhead. A beautiful subject with wonderful detail in the fabrics and setting.

Condition - This print with excellent detail as shown. Three separate panels. A few small wormholes, repaired. Slight toning, a couple spots, slight rubbing at edge. Please see photos for details.
