Comments - Charming portrait of a courtesan strolling beneath a blossoming cherry tree, pausing to look back over her shoulder with a smile. She wears a blue outer kimono patterned with bamboo decorated with poem slips for the Tanabata Festival, bordered with a brown scroll pattern. Her tall black geta clogs have three "teeth," identifying her as an oiran or high-ranking courtesan. An attractive design.
