Comments - Interesting kabuki scene of the young man Gennosuke fighting off guards attacking him with iron truncheons. He raises his fan high above his head as he glares back at the man at right, who stares back as him, biting his lower lip. The large expressive figures are set off by a blue background. Sawamura Tossho appears as Gennosuke.
