Fukutaro Terauchi - Not much is known about the artist Fukutaro Terauchi except that he seems to have been active from about the 1930s through the 1960s or 1970s. His attractive watercolor paintings and woodblock prints focus on traditional Japanese scenery throughout the seasons, and were likely produced for the tourist market. His softly colored, atmospheric designs are rendered with quick, loose brushstrokes, giving them a romantic feel. A nice choice for display.
