Beauty with a Doll Kakemono

Comments - Charming kakemono or vertical diptych image of a beauty holding a handsomely dressed doll, smiling happily. She wears a green kimono patterned with bird cages, flowing water, and bush clover over a red under robe, tied with a rust print obi, one bare foot peaking from beneath her robes. Her hair is pulled back into a bun with wings at the sides, adorned with a comb, ribbons, and decorative floral hairpins. An attractive Edo era beauty design.

Image Size - 27 1/4" x 8 7/8" + margin as shown

Condition - This print with excellent detail as shown. Two separate panels. Wormholes at edges, repaired. Toning, slight soiling, and creasing, a few paper remnants at sides. Please see photos for details.
