Komatsu Shigemori - Handsome depiction of Komatsu Shigemori in an audience with his father, Taira no Kiyomori. He sits at left, wearing a gray tunic with a beautiful burnished plaid pattern over a delicately embossed white robe, and a tall black court cap. Kiyomori stares at him sternly, clutching a black robe over his suit of armor. A retainer kneels behind him, bowing quietly. The room is furnished with hanging cloth curtains and a sliding panel with a lovely landscape of a rocky shore dotted with pines overlooking the water. Beautifully detailed with fine line work and touches of silver mica.
