Comments - Interesting kabuki fan print featuring two scenes divided diagonally. At left, a courtesan looks soberly at her companion as she pulls up the collars of her outer kimono. The man frowns back at her as he displays a narrow wooden plaque with writing on it. At right, a man holding an enormous red lacquer cup of sake grimaces angrily as he looks up. A handsome design with expressive figures.
