Original Yoshiiku (1839 - 1892) Japanese Woodblock Print
Woman Clutching a Dotted Cloth, 1865

Comments - Handsome kabuki portrait of a woman clutching a dotted cloth in one hand, looking over her shoulder with slight frown. Her long hair is pulled back into a low knot, with a comb slipping loose at the side of her head. A band of gold shaded clouds separates the figure from a row of actor names and crests. An interesting design with bold graphic appeal.

Image Size - 14 1/4" x 9 3/8" + margins as shown
