Geisha Playing a Hand Drum, circa 1950s

Comments - Lovely image of a geisha playing a hand drum, holding the instrument on her shoulder with one hand as she taps out a rhythm with the other. She wears a rose colored kimono with a bold cherry blossom motif, tied with a magenta patterned obi, her hair pulled back into a bun adorned with a tasseled ornament. Sliding shoji panels open onto a garden with a water basin and stepping stones. The first time we've offered this handsome design.

Condition - This print with excellent color and detail as shown. Slight paper remnants at two points on top edge front and back from previous mounting. A few creases at edges. Please see photos for details.
