Cherry Blossom Festival at Naka-no-cho in the Yoshiwara, circa 1850s - Terrific springtime view of the bustling main street of Naka-no-cho in the Yoshiwara district during the cherry blossom festival. Elegant courtesans and their small attendants stroll along, some accompanied by servants holding umbrellas over them. Guests look down from the second story verandahs of the teahouses lining the courtyard. A charming subject.
