Series; Fashions of Today (Ima Sugata)

Yamamoto Shoun - Yamamoto Shoun studied Kano school and nanga painting, and also worked as an illustrator in Tokyo for a magazine about popular sights in the city. He is perhaps best known for his lovely woodblock portraits of women published by Matsuki Heikichi (Daikokuya). His work bridges the traditional ukiyo-e and shin-hanga movements in Japanese art. His prints are rarely seen on the market and are highly sought after by collectors. Don't miss this opportunity to acquire a classic Shoun beauty image from this transitional period.
