Upstairs at a Teahouse

Comments - Fantastic interior view of the upper floor of a teahouse, with courtesans and patrons making their way through the halls. At bottom center, two servants carry low red lacquer tables piles with food and drink, while a beauty makes her way up the stairs towards them. At upper right, a guest leans over the railing around a central atrium, looking below. A terrific Edo era image with wonderful architectural detail.

Condition - This print with excellent detail as shown. Three separate panels. Horizontal and vertical folds. Small losses at edges, a few wormholes, repaired. Slight toning, soiling, and creasing. Please see photos for details.
