Cherry Blossoms in Full Bloom at Goten-yama, circa 1840 - 1842 - Lovely Hiroshige landscape of picnickers at Goten-yama or Goten Hill enjoying the cherry blossoms. Several parties are gathered on large mats, relaxing with refreshments under the blossoms. The park overlooks the busy harbor, with sailing ships and small boats on the calm blue water. A beautiful spring image and classic Hiroshige design. The Boston Museum of Fine Arts has this image in its collection.

Condition - This print with good detail as shown. Tiny losses and slight thinning at corners, repaired. Creasing, slight toning and soiling. Please see photos for details.
