Comments - Interesting kabuki scene of a group of travelers stopping in Narita in spring. At right, a crouching man offers a tobacco set to a fellow sitting in a palanquin, while one of the traveler's bearers adjusts a package tied to the roof of the palanquin. Above, pairs of geta clogs are laid out on the ground next to a large trunk with a banner attached to it. The shop at left has bolts of cloth and other items that travelers may need. An intriguing image with wonderful detail.
