Comments - Handsome kabuki double portrait from the play "Kana Kydai Musume no Adauchi" featuring Onoe Kikujiro II as female pilgrim Akitsuki and Nakamura Nakasuke II as Kongotaro. She carries a portable shrine on her back and carries shakujou, a pilgrim's walking staff topped with a ringed finial. An interesting design with soft bokashi shading in the night sky and strong wood grain impression in the background.

Condition - This print with excellent color and detail as shown. Stitching holes at side, repaired. Toning, slight soiling, slight rubbing at edges. Please see photos for details.
